Picture the albumful of special moments you will experience at the port of Havre-Saint-Pierre, e.g. marvelling at some of the islands of the Mingan Archipelago National Park Reserve directly from the wharf, or spotting whales and seals…
The port of Havre-Saint-Pierre is nestled at the mouth of the gulf of Saint Lawrence along the North Shore, 225 km downstream of Sept-Îles. After enjoying a nearly $10 million makeover, it is now a port of call for larger ships and barges, as well as national and international cruise liners. The port operates a variety of marine services, including amenities for receiving cargo and passengers, supplying fish plants, and handling salt shipments.
The port of Havre-Saint-Pierre is located inside the Mingan Archipelago National Park, near the town’s centre and the health and social services centre for the Minganie region.
